  We know that organizations who don't track their assets feel they don't have the manpower. Asset Tracker lets your re-think this decision by squeezing the most benefit out of the least training and entry time.

Increased Efficiency

1.  The Pocket PC's barcode reader is used to enter all information about an asset. All item descriptions can be printed as Code39 barcodes that are scanned (instead of typed on the computer) when entering new items. Similarly, barcodes can be printed out for shelf locations and employee names. All entries are made when and where the event or transaction occurs to increase accuracy.

2.  The Pocket PC allows you to easily associate assets into groups called 'super-parents'. For example, you can associate all assets belonging to one general ledger account number by scanning the account number and then each asset belonging to this account. You can either scan the asset or scan our reports (which always includes the barcode identifier for each asset). These groupings can be made when appropriate for accounts, categories, clusters, vendors or maintenance contracts.

3.  You can automatically groups associated assets into "clusters" for more practical management. For example, a computer system is really made up of a monitor, keyboard, computer, printer and assorted software. You are able to track the computer system as a whole without losing visibility of its separate assets. Our customers use clusters to describe items such as helicopters, patrol vehicles or the total items issued to one employee.

4.  The system will automatically track the management statistics of your operation and present them as management graphs. This management overview approach presents information graphically and promotes successful management decisions.

5.  An SDIO card fits into the top of our Pocket PC allowing you to scan any popular barcode format. Use the Graffiti handwriting recognition to use the 'pen like' stylus to record a full assortment of letters and numbers. With a little practice you may never have to hunt and peck the keyboard again!

6.  Now you can maintain an unlimited number of photos and documents for each asset. Pictures, documents, instructions, warranty information and sales receipts can be entered from any flatbed scanner.

7.  Our reporting strategy is intuitive and allows users to quickly find answers to complex questions. We include a 'custom' report generator that outputs as Adobe Acrobat, ASCII or printed output.
